How long have you been hairdresser?

How long have you been doing bridal hair for?
Over 15 years.
How would you describe your style?
Soft, natural, romantic and elegant. I like to ensure that brides still feel like themselves and are comfortable with their hair - not covered in gel and plastered with hairspray.
How long does it take to style our hair?
I plan on between 45 minutes to 1 hour each person.
How many people can you do on the day?
I can do as many as you need done as long as we set aside enough time.
Should me and my bridal party wash our hair on the day of the wedding?
All members of your bridal party need to have their hair clean and dry before I arrive on the day, whether it's done the night before or on the morning is your choice.
How long before the wedding should I colour my hair?
I recommend 1-2 weeks before your wedding just in case you don’t like the colour so you still have time to correct it.
Do you work with hair extensions?
I work with all types of hair extensions, however, if you want permanent extensions you will need to get them put in before your wedding day.
Do we come to you for a hair trial?
You will need to visit me for the hair trial.
Do you come to us for the wedding day?
I will come to you on your wedding day.
Where are you based?
I work primarily in Sydney.
Do you travel outside Sydney?
I'll travel anywhere to do your hair, however, there will be a travel cost. Most common locations outside Sydney have been Hunter Valley, Gold Coast, and Melbourne.
Do you charge a travel cost?
Yes, a travel cost is charged at a rate of $50 per hour for travel to and from the venue on your wedding day (or other formal occasion).
How much do you charge for the wedding day?
$120 for the bride, $100 per bridesmaid, $80 for the mother of the bride (or relative), and $50 per flowergirl.
How much do you charge for a hair trial?
$80 per person.
Do I need to leave a deposit?
Once you have had a hair trial and you are happy with your hair you will need to pay a 20% deposit to secure the date. This deposit is not refundable if you were to cancel 4 weeks before the wedding.
Other payment terms and conditions
The balance of your payment is due on the wedding day. Personal cheques are not accepted as payment.
Is there a call out fee if it's only one person?
If only one person is getting their hair done on the day, it will be $150 for the hairstyle and $50 travel.
Do you need an assistant?
No I'm able to work on my own.
